Yoga is a salve to soothe the nervous system, as well as address areas of tightness and restriction for greater well-being. Stress is a 21st century health epidemic, and the antidote to stress is relaxation.

This workshop is designed to pinpoint and open areas of tightness, and to invoke the relaxation response so the body is calmed and healed.  

Session descriptions

Friday, September 24th: 6-8pm

~Total Restore~

Gentle spinal and joint movements, followed by long held, fully supportive restorative poses to rest and open the body. This class is the perfect unwinding for a week’s end, and will also include breathing techniques and meditation.

Saturday, September 25th: 1-3pm

~ Upper Body, Lung, and Heart Clinic ~

This practice is a tonic for our upper bodIes, with dynamic shoulder and arm exercises to free up the thoracic spine and improve posture. The thoracic spine tends to stiffen with age, and restrict movement and breathing. This session includes therapeutic resting poses for upper body, breathing techniques and discussion on lung and heart health.


$40 per session / $75 for both

If possible, please bring a yoga mat, 2 blocks, blanket, strap, and bolster. We will have homemade, top-quality restorative yoga props onsite for sale! Made with love by my mom – sand bags, hand weights, and eye pillows to aid in soothing the nervous system.
