Beginner’s Yoga

For those entirely new to yoga, or on-going students who desire a slower paced, alignment-based practice. Beginners yoga emphasizes building the pose from the foundation up and creating length in the spine. The student is given systematic instructions and time to align the general form of each pose.

Poses are broken down succinctly, with a proper use of props, modifications, and demonstrations so the poses become accessible and familiar. It is appropriate for students with injuries or physical limitations.

Expect to learn good body mechanics and build balanced strength, flexibility, and balance.
