Topic: Spinal Health

Saturday, August 29th

2-4pm CST

A 2-hour class focused on our spine. Learn and practice how the stability and suppleness of our spine is imperative to our posture, breath, and overall health.

The Conscious Living Series has moved to an online, virtual platform!
Each month we address a pertinent health issue or area of the physical body prone to injury or tightness. Our practice is to promote greater health and understanding of the functionality of our bodies, and how our practice is a wonderful tool for preventative health care.

You will receive an informational handout including our yoga sequence.
*You must be able to lie down on the floor (or a bed or platform) for a portion of the practice.*

Props needed:

-Chair / autamon
-Strap / belt or scarf
-2 blocks / books or cans of equal size
-2 blankets
-1 bolster recommended (You can tightly roll a few stiff blankets and tie them for a make shift bolster)

Kelly Haas teaches a monthly series on Conscious Living Yoga, where we address a pertinent health issue facing older populations and to promote healthy living. Each month focuses on a different theme.

One Saturday per month from 2-4pm.
